Re: Impressive stuff Dean!It is true, loppers aren't the normal gear you'd take up most peaks. I was impressed too by the fact that both Dan and Chris brought them. A machete might have been nice as well.

Re: Impressive stuff Dean!Loppers are what pruning tools are referred to around the area I live. There are many orchards in the area and the people who work there always refer to the big pruning shears as loppers. You are definitely a loser without your loppers in that Davis Creek drainage. Check out this website for purchasing your loppers. Loppers are used to lop off limbs, branches, fingers and frozen snickers bars.
