Summit block of Independence Peak from south on the ridgeline gained by west face. Easy trail to summit block is seen on the right but it is much more fun to stay high and entertain yourself on class 3+ rock. 2 Dec 06

I concur but the North Ridge is more "entertaining" than the west face! Done them both, sure hate the descent!
