Check mark

Bagged with Durka from the East up a ridge on the south east side - saw a few dozen broncos on the way out. Fun day. I wonder if people think the south peak is the high point because of the benchmarks and the solar panels/ small antennae- but the middle peak seems to be the highest.

Indian Peaks  Sucess!

Really enjoyed this one. Ideal weather the entire hike. I also visited the point ~.4 miles to the west as it looked close in elevation to the benchmark.

Nice hike  Sucess!

Parked at about the 5600' level to the NNE and worked our way to the east ridge which we followed to the top. We also made our way SE to Point 8406 on which is located a benchmark.

Nice climb  Sucess!

Had the mountain to myself. The road in was a little muddy and slick due to the recent rains. Some unexpected cliff bands on the route I chose from the south. Added a little excitement to the peak. Views of surrounding region were spectacular. Climbed Red Pine Peak in the Sheeprock's after

North ridge  Sucess!

A bit on the snowy side once I got above 7800' but not bad. I think when I do this one again (my son wants to do it), I'd go up via a western or eastern route. I'm thinking an eastern approach might be nicer than coming in from the north as I did. Others I know went in via Indian Springs on the southwest so that is a possibility too.
