Climbed Iron, went across the San Antonio Ridge to Baldy and then over to the three T's for day two.
We had stashed water at West Baldy, but barely had enough to get to our stash from Iron Mountain. If you attempt a traverse, I'd recommend carrying a lot of water or stashing it at both West Baldy and Iron peaks. The traverse is slow moving and in the heat you will run through a significant amount of water.
This is one of the more challenging mountains in the region and the ridge is extremely demanding but fun. The ridge requires a couple class 4 maneuvers, but is mostly class 3.

Weekend at Iron Mountain #2
Camped at saddle right below Iron Mountain #2, where Trail Canyon meets up with Condor Peak Trail Canyon. From there down into the canyon it is completely overgrown now, don't bother unless you're experienced and prepared for serious bushwhacking. Phone reception at the saddle was good. B

A long, hot day starting at Mill Creek Saddle and tagging 4 HPS Peaks along the way – Gleason, Iron # 2, Condor, & Fox # 2. Finished the hike with a car shuttle at MM 4.50 on Big Tujunga Canyon Road.

Loop hike
Rain, snow, and sun on what started out looking like a dismal mistake but turned into a fun outing. Trip Report

Loop
Loop around Fox, Condor, and Iron with Bob and Glenn. Rain and low clouds to begin with, but views opened up later on--they were surprisingly nice from Iron, with patchy clouds and fresh snow on the San Gabriels. Returned via Trail Canyon, also a nice hike.

Love Trail CanyonThis is a fabulous trail. More fun when there's lots of water. Watch out for ticks and don't go when it's hot.
