January 2004: view of Lake Tahoe from summit. We started out from Tahoe Meadows on snowshoes, came up a gully with some exposure, and joined the summit trail (more or less). The last hundred or so feet to the summit was free of snow. Weather was fantastic. Trip #64 in "Snowshoe Trails of California" (Michael C. White, Wilderness Press, 2001)
