very impressive tree
set camp at Wood Camp campground, then walked to the Old Jardine Juniper. Admired it for 3/4 hour, then made slow respectful retreat clockwise on the loop, taking the time to visit the summit too.

Thunderstorm
Started out with beautiful weather. Trail got muddy as we went up. Hit the junction between the shady and scenic trails and got slammed by a thunderstorm. I wasn't about to turn around so headed down the scenic route to the summit. Felt pretty hairy on that exposed side during a thunderstorm. Bagged the summit though and got out of there!

Good ride
Rode up from Wood Camp and left the trail to get on top, then cruised down. Sweet mtn bike trail, good time with my husband!

Jardine Juniper
I have hiked and biked the trail multiple times. I never thought about climbing the peak until I saw this page. It made for a nice little side-trip on the way to Jardine Juniper. I also saw a coyote on the trail.

Excellent hike
Beautiful hike. Still tons of snow on the surrounding peaks this year, and the log bridge was pretty much underwater. Did a little barefoot wading to cross the creek. Great time.
Have done this one numerous times. It's one of my favorite bike rides in the area. Got charged by a moose on it once when my dogs decided they'd try to herd it like they do cows.

Jardine Juniper Peak
I was here during Fall to see the changing colors. Started from Wood Camp. Someone suggested hiking up to the peak above the Jardine Juniper so that is the name I decided to call it.

Fun Hike
This is an easy hike and would be great for kids. I had a blast. Moose sign is everywhere.
