This observation tower, which is 22m tall, was built in 1911. It was then called Kaiserturm and the hill it stands on, located on the outskirts of the city of Jelenia Góra (Hirschberg in German), was known as Hausberg. After World War II the 375m high hill was named Wzgórze Krzywoustego (Krzywousty’s Hill), after one of the early rulers of Poland.
