Spring walk
Four of us walked along the road from the locked gate and BLM parking area about a mile past Wright Mountain, then up the use trail to La Centinela and up the north side slope. On the return we bushwhacked/scrambled to the Joaquin Ridge benchmark and back to the road.
Sunny day, lots of wildflowers.

From Wright Mtn
This was great fun despite unusually cold temps in the morning. The driving was actually more challenging than the hiking/scrambling. Trip Report.

Success after 5 years
Climbed all 3 rocks on a beautiful New Years Eve with Bob Burd and Steve Sywyk. Tried to get here 5 years ago, but only made it to Joaquin 2. These are probably the largest rocks in the Diablo Range, and the views are great.
