Jof Fuart / Vis

The narrow group of Jôof Fuart / Viš can be best viewed from the summit of Cima di Cacciatore / Kamniti Lovec. The main summit is in the right, then towards the left come: Madre dei Camosci / Gamsja Mati, Torre/Turn, Innominata and Cima di Riofreddo / Divja Koza. Over the walls on the left many hard climbs go. Perhaps one can use this picture to draw in the most important ones. Jôof Fuart / Viš itself is less climbed from this side, with the exception of Gola NE - the famous NE ravine where the old Kugy route goes. The ravine is nicely seen on the picture (in upper parts it has snow), below it is entered from the right, over a side ridge. Also thios route is not yet described on SP. And finally here are the famous Ledges of the Gods, encircling the whole narrow massif of ôof Fuart / Viš. We clearly see both: the upper and the lower ledge. July, 2008.
