A view from Mont Legeault (Kaiikop) in the upper laurentians in the vicinity of St Donat looking south towards violon lake. While the Laurentians aren't reknown for stark topography being the oldest mountain chain on earth, it is possible to occasionally glimpse interesting scenery such as from this vista atop mount Kaiikop (Legeault). I personally found the ground level scenery from violon lake (situated to the south attainable from the road leading from "Entrelacs" on towards "St Marguerite du lac Masson") as being somewhat more dramatic once in immediate vicinity of the hills which this time are further north . If you remark, there is an abandoned ski slope on one of the summits.
