"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

finally found it! 7th Cohp for me in UtahMy wife accompanied me on this one. I was bound and determined to find the register; so, after searching a while and THEN learning to set the proper datum and output format on my GPS, we finally found the cairn and the pill bottle. As I signed the register, and I explained to my wife who Gerry Roach was and what he has climbed, I noticed I was not impressing her. Oh, well!

UghThe aspens are almost too thick for vehicle travel once you turn off Deer Valley Rd, and the 4wd road is quite rough. Everything was smokey from the nearby wildfires.

Lightning DodgingI did this one between thunder and lightning storms that swept the area. I waited about 1/2 hour for one to clear the area before getting out of my truck. I still got wet from the brush.

A fun one. After my son and I had visited Brian Head, the county highpoint of Iron county, we headed over to do this one. It took us less than an hour including a visit we made to the "overlook". From here we went to a campground near St. George so we could do Signal Mtn the next day. I love the colors in this part of Utah.
