Due to time restraints, unfortunately, i wasn't able to summit Kebnekaise, but in the future i might want to go up to Abisko again, and thru-hike to Nikkaluotka from there, summiting peaks on the way south. This part of Scandinavia is just absolutely gorgeous.
Lolli this is a very promising page but somehow you have messed up the html. Thumbnails overlay other pictures etc.
You probably don't see the problem if you are an IE user but we poor Mozilla addicts are in for some strange sensations...
I'll have a look at the code and send you corrections via snailmail...

Lolli, I have had a look - the solution is quite simple: You should put each picture in a <tr> </tr> tag, together with the corresponding text. It would be best to put the pics left and right alternatively.
The way you do it at the moment it is absolutely undefined where the pictures will be placed on the screen. Depending on your browser and your screen resolution the pics end up all over the screen.
Actually my first page was Thimble Peak, which I think is better than the Elephant Dome page. I actually adopted Elephant Dome from Josh, the guy who created the site. Hopefully I can do a couple of the routes this fall and give a better overview then....
I just saw a documentary on Finnish TV about Kebnekaise's South Summit melting, so the Norh Summit (not a glacier) will soon be higher. When do they predict this will happen? How high is the Norh Summit (this is probably in your text but I forgot it)?
A similar situation occured in Norway, as Glittertind, a glacier, was for long considered the No. 1 in Scandinavia. Let's hope Halti doesn't start to melt. Then we would really be in trouble!

Untitled CommentLolli, good thing you've adopted this page. As Corax said, a country's tallest mountain deserves better.
Cheers, Clint

Untitled CommentThe information and images are great. The HTML spoils it. Try fixing it or revert to the light html way of handling it. Cheers William

Untitled CommentExcellent work, Lolli!
I noticed that on the "Getting There" section the links "The train" and "The flight" don't work. I guess there have been some changes to those links.
