Key Trail Junction

This is the main trail junction in the area of the Fremont COHP. The Targhee Creek trailhead is six miles south of there. The trail goes southwest to Targhee Pass and then loops back to the trailhead. A trail goes north from this point and up over into the basins to the north. The spectacular northeast basin of the Fremont COHP is northwest of this point, but there are no trails to most of the lakes. June 2009
