Yes, but there was no option of retreat just after the accident. We had only quarter to absolute darkness, at least 350m rock face below us and not enough gear to escape by rappels...well our rope was prety short 35m only. We had to find proper bivy spot and wait till dawn to decide. There was another day of climbing in good weather ahead so we continued as I didn't have climb-ending injury.
Thanks for comment.

Guys, yous kick arse! Write something like that more often.
I mean you don't have to put yourselves in such a danger each time you want to post a TR :) Glad you're in one piece...
And great job Yatsek to give the report its final shape!

Great report and pictures! Glad both of you made it down ok and are ready to go again. Take the fishing rod the next time! The High Tatras are going on my list of places to go.
Thanks.
About the fishing rod: it's our joke, it came out on Matterhorn but we are sill laughing at it.
Tatras are beautiful- it's really a place worth to visit.
When are you guys going to do something easy on a nice day in summer? Your TR on your winter trip to the Matterhorn still has me on the edge of my chair and now this. What next?
Many thanks for sharing and glad it worked out for you.
Well... we did sth easy-like once and it was last year. The weather was perfect and the rock was dry :) but to write good TR you need to have some adventures, snow and fear.
I'm happy you remamber our first text.
I think we both dream about coming back for Mattehorn in winter but this time by it's East Face. Our MUST-DO list is long :)

There are still some good, sad and adventurous stories from the mountains to be told...
Yatsek did a great job correcting the text.
Thanks a lot.
