With Blue Diamond Hill
Went up the West Ridge and down the South-face Chute. As Rory stated, some of the route-finding can be non-trivial. Impressed that so many people have made it to the top. Nevertheless, on a perfect holiday weekend I only saw one other person on the mountain, in contrast with the hordes on the loop trail.

2 Peak Day
Climbed after New Peak. Much more enjoyable scrambling on this rock than the jagged handholds of NP. Beautiful color to the sandstone. Finished with the Kraft mountain loop trail afterwards, the canyon on the back side was fun. Surprised it’s not in the RRNCA.

Made a loop out of it
w/ Rory. We summited from the trail near the parking area, on the southeast side. From the false summit, we took the ridge across to the true summit. We descended from there to the trail between Kraft and New Peak, took use trails through the springs and climbed the southernmost point of the Calico Hills from there. To make it a full loop, we walked through the town to return to the car.

From the Saddle With New Peak
Climbed New Peak first. The contrast between the two peaks is interesting. This is an easy climb but the route finding is non-trivial, as it is on most of the sandstone peaks around here.

Up and over
My brother and I went up the South chute that cuts right up the middle to the summit. To descend, we followed the ridge to the West for a short time, then eyed a gully on the North side that looked like it went, except we couldn't see the very bottom. It almost cliffed out at the bottom, but we were able to find a clever workaround. Took the wash up to Hell Hill and took the trail back down. A+ scrambling. GPS trace
Again on 10/23/16, this time ascending my previous descent route. I made a conscious effort to descend as close to the West ridge as possible. GPS trace
Again on 11/20/16, this time up the South chute at a faster pace. Descended off the North side as before, then went over and did New Peak. GPS trace
Again on 2/25/17, via the South chute, then down into Gateway. Up South face of Grey Cap, then descended into Brownstone, went back through to Gateway and down Hell Hill. GPS trace
Again on 11/10/18, via South chute, then down into Gateway. Around to Ash Canyon saddle, then up the West ridge of New Peak to that summit. Down the East ridge to the top of Hell Hill, then done. GPS tracks

Kraft, New Peak, Redcap, and West Calico the Long Way
I started out at the parking lot at the end of the road in Calico Basin, hiked around to the north side of Kraft and ascended to a saddle with another peaklet between myself and the the high point. I traversed around it on the south (left) and made the Kraft summit. Down climbing through slots, chutes, and boulders, I came out at the saddle between Kraft and New Peak. Up New and down the other side over class 3 limestone all along the ridge. Then up a chute to the base of Redcap, and up to the top. There were many pools with water in them, including a sizeable one at the summit. The sandstone was slippery from three days of heavy rain. I dropped down the same chute and hiked around and into the Calico canyon up past the tank, and worked my way to the west Calico summit, then all the way out to the Scenic Loop. From there I hiked in the dark to the wash/trail that leads back to Calico Basin and finally back to my car. Total trip came in at 12.2 miles. A full day.
Had a silly time wandering and climbing Atman. Short but very fun! Yin and Yang will be a good climb when I, you know, become a real climber or somethin' - Also want to check out Sunny and Steep zone after running into the Dean of Red Rock climbing himself at the gear shop, Wendell Broussard. Awesome guy, full of amazing climbing info, and a very nice and humble human being to boot. I guess he put up some cool routes there, including one that I must climb simply due to the name, "High Class Ho"
climbed various times with Ed F, Richard N and Peter and Doyle. Always a lot better than I expect it to be

Throw yourself about
There's no shortage of ways up this peak. I found a nice long leg on the WNW side of it and crawled up. Similar to the Calico hills in inventive bouldering, but different enough to hold as its' own.

Kraft Mountain
Fun scramble after New Peak. Kraft Mountain was covered in snow most of the way.
Nice morning hike combined with New Peak. This peak (Kraft) is more of a fun scramble being sandstone. Hot day but I did it early. I also learned not to answer my cell phone while hydrating - I tipped over my Nalgene while tending to the call and lost almost all my water.
Repeated this one on October 25, 2017 & again on October 18, 2021
I typically start at the east end, then go W over Kraft, New Peak, Redcap, then cut back east and south over 1 or 2 peaks on the sides of Calico Tank, then down a deep slot on the east of the tank. This loop gives a lot of variety, with lots of scrambling. You gain over 3000' by the time the loop is done.
This peak has become immensely popular with one local Meetup group. Before 2003, there was no sign that anyone went across the top; now it's not unusual to have 40 people go across the summit on a scheduled hike.
Have also been N-S two different ways; much trickier.
