This reminds me ofthe Hollywood movie, "I can't remember its name" where King Author pulls the sword from
the stone. Later, he casts his sword into a
deep pristine lake (like this one), and
suddenly the "Lady of The Lake" rises from beneath the water and flings the sword BACK to King Author.
Incredible photo ... and awesome reflection!

Re: This reminds me ofWe had to take ours down at about 11 p.m. and spend the rest of the night in the refuge, which was packed with people by midnight. One funny guy I remember got in with a sturdy ice-axe in one hand and a portable radio in the other, or maybe my memory's playing tricks on me. LOL

Refugiul CaltunFantastic memories of ten nights spent in this refugee, where I experienced the most dramatic moments of my life - terrible thunderstorms, hurricane force winds, heavy rains with a rainbow bridge and bad injuries of tourists in a snow patch near Strunga Dracului
Thanks for these associations...

Re: Refugiul CaltunIn which month did you climb in Fagaras? June and july arent so good, now for example is rainy and with storms... I choose this year middle of august hoping that I will have good weather :).

Re: Refugiul CaltunI was there twice (14 days in August 2008 and 14 days in June/July 2009). I know, that these months are the rainiest of the year, but for a purpose of a documentary it was very good idea...
