We were already camped at Panamint Springs, and the park service began shutting down the park the night before. Luckily they left the Panamint Valley untouched, so this little summit seemed like a good idea before heading home. To make it more difficult, we started from the beginning of the dirt road. Cool geology going up (sharp rock!), and the base of the mountain is sandy shoreline. Pretty cool.
