Hi $ Train to get this view...It was $120+ US in 2000 to ride a train to this view. Ouch. With more time and gear of course, SP'ers would climb here and beyond with out a train anyway.

Re: Hi $ Train to get this view...Yes, it's true, in Suisse you pay for many great places (as Jungfraujoch) but nowadays all the mountaineers take the train to climb Mönch, Jungfrau,... the temptation is irresistible to take the train (60€ in 2006). The route of Eigerglettcher (Eiger's glacier) to reach Jungfraujoch it's hard I think...
