NS Traverse
Climbed as part of a traverse of the NS range, via lake agnes.
Teepee to Lead false summit ridge is phenomenal. Super easy routefinding, good pitch and limited exposure if you want.
For the northern false summit, the west side of the ridge provides phenomenal easy 5th class slab to play around on- rock felt very similar to the upper trough on longs, or even the flatirons. Looks intimidating from the north, but a ball of a time.
Rock quality is akin to Mt Richoften- solid in places, but uncontrollable and shitty talus for the most part. Good ole' never summers huh?
With Rachael and Scot. East ridge after "Never Summer", great scramble. Windy day, but we found some scrambling off the ridge crest as well to help get out of the wind from time to time. A real RMNP gem.
Years and years after it made my to do list, I finally payed my 1st visit to the Never Summer Range. Did a long, enjoyable loop on a perfect weather day over "Never Summer Peak", Lead Mountain, Hart Ridge, Mount Cirrus, Howard Mountain, Mount Cumulus, Mount Nimbus & Red Mountain.

Hart Ridge
From the end of the Lake of the Coulds trails it was a fun meander over snowfields and tundra to an exciting 3rd class route up to the ridge itself. Then a fun scramble to the summit from there. Recommended for sure!

Howard - Cirrus -Lead - Never Summer
From camp in Hitchens Gulch, climbed the unnamed peak east of Howard Mtn, Howard Mtn, Mt Cirrus, Lead Mtn, and 'Never Summer Pk' with my friend Keith. Traversed Hart Ridge from Cirrus to Lead.

a bit frightening
Bushwhacked through the snow to the east ridge. The east ridge proved to be pretty tough, and quite exposed, climbing. Glad to bail of the ridge on the way down onto steep snowfields (ice axe a good idea)

This was our second attempt. We approached from the Grand Ditch and came up and over the unnamed summit on the east side. There's a nice rocky ridge to travers between the unnamed summit and Lead.
