Leading into the canyon

is this high clearance road. I didn't feel 4WD was necessary but you definitely need high clearance to deal with rocks and washes. It isn't much of a hike, less than a mile to just park your vehicle at the mouth of the canyon and simply walk up the road until you are west of the summit area. 5-3-08
