September 6, 2009 - Leading the bergschrund of the North Couloir of Thunderbolt Peak. There was about 1-2 inches of crappy water ice on top of crappy alpine ice, with better alpine ice perhaps another 0.5-1 inch deeper. Lotsa hacking! Photo by Jonathan Bye
