Drove an SUV on the dirt road that leads to the peak and parked at the locked gate that's approximately a quarter mile from the summit. The remaining quarter-mile hike to the top was pretty straightforward, but I did see a few patches of snow, which is quite unusual at this elevation and latitude in July. The lookout tower at the top is no longer in use, but at the time I was there, you could climb the ladder to the second story and enjoy the views from there. After visiting the tower, I climbed the small pile of rocks a short distance to the south, which marked the highest natural point.

Ocean to Peak Adventures: Mountain Summit Challenge 2023, Peak #8
Went up with two others. We did it without snowshoes, but it was a mixture of dry sagebrush, class 2 rocks, and snow.

Spent a half day tagging area peaks, was able to drive up to the gate making this one the easiest of the day.
