Butto me it looks more like a slow-worm (which can hardly hurt a human).

Re: Butsorry to disappoint. This species is called Jan's racer or Jan's Desert racer. It is mildly venomous. THis bite was no big deal just looks dramatic - I have suffered worse!!! Slow worms however, can be found in Iran but on the northern slopes of the Alborz mountains and they are indeed harmless.
