Lone Mountain (Elko)

The highpoints of Lone Mountain are visible in this picture. Nannies Peak was once considered the high point but that changed when Ken Jones used a surveyors instrument that made check out the rocky prominence to the north. What he found was that Nannies Peak was lower by several feet. This was confirmed by John Vitz who had also found the same result when he had visited the area.
