Re: HowThank you. You can reach this spot by a trail that starts from Island Lake off the Beartooth Highway. The other end is at Beartooth Lake. You can do the whole loop as a day hike or, of course, set up camp and explore. As you can see, Lonesome Mountain is not too far away.

HowCamping at Albino Lake gives you access to Lonesome Mountain too. i have also camped south of the peak in the alpine meadows above Rainbow Lake. Lonesome is a walk up and well worth the time.
