Looking back at the dirt ramp on the traverse from Weden Pass to Sheep Gap Mountain main summit
The ramp you are looking for is in the center of this photo, rising from left to right. There are probably other places (to the right of this photo) where one could descend from Weden Pass, but this is the spot that will result in the least distance and elevation loss. The dirt slope is covered in evergreen needles, and is a little slick, but there are plenty of branches for "bush belays".
