Looking back at the way we came...

Sometimes the preoccupation with what's ahead is so great you forget to look back from where you came! Our route had brought us down an extremely dangerous couloir and into the basin from which this picture was taken. We had descended (and had to, of course, ascend on the way out) between the two groupings of pointed peaks, then come up from the left. Trees look as though they could be models...interesting perspective.
