Looking down to the Kjerag...

Looking down to the Kjerag base jumper's landing zone on the shores of the Lyse Fjord. They land on the small shore and are picked up by boat. I had to lean out a bit for this shot, with my girlfriend holding me. Now I know she still wants to stay with me ;-) Photo taken from near the Kjerag bolt, with a 200mm tele. Summer 2002.

difficult shot!

I realize you must have had to lean out quite far into the void to get this shot!



We hiked over to the spot where they jump, but the rain came in and we missed the last jump of the day by 5 minutes...
