"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Just a substituteWanted to climb Cerro del Trevenque in the Sierra Nevada. Because of bad weather turned back and found the trailhead to Lopera just beside our return road. Short and ugly ascent but wonderful views of the eastern Sierra de Almijara. Returned and headed to the next trailhead, the one for the canyons of Rio Verde. Wonderful waterfalls which seem to be made for canyoneering. Met some canyoneerers though we stayed on the hiking trails. Very recommendable.
