Windy
We had a nice day ascending all the easy Monte Rosa summits but Ludwigshohe suprised us with a strong wind that let us to spent only few minutes on the summit.

A gorgeous viewpoint in the heart of Monte Rosa.

Along the way
Climbed Ludwigshohe after Corno Nero and before Parrotspitze. Compared to it's 2 neighbours, Ludwigshohe is less interesting in my opinion. Still, a nice little summit ridge and views are exceptional. Another 4000er easy collected. Climebed together with Pieter, Werner and Roeland.

Nice peak
It's an small but very nice peak with the most complete landscape of the area for the summit. The narrow ridge is spectacular.
...with rgg & Alasdair as 2nd of 4 summits we did this day, last being the Signalkuppe - en route to Zumstein & Dufour the following day.

Ludwigshöhe
Fun and easy walk up with great views. Descended down to the Monte Rosa hut and broke through into quite the crevasse. This descent had some of the best scenery of the trip, even got to see a good sized ice avalanche after hearing them all day.

4 Peaks Of Monte Rosa
Ludwigshoehe was the fourth and final peak after Breithorn, Pollux and Castor. We had hoped to climb Liskamm instead but it was too windy and the ridge top was covered in clouds. We descended the Gorner Glacier and on the way to Monte Rosa Hut, Ryan fell into a crevasse. The next day I had to descend all the way to Visp to get surgery for a strange illness and we were not able to climb Dufourspitze as we had planned.
Early in the morning it was quite windy, so instead of the Lyskamm traverse, we went past it on the southern slopes. Even though we intended to descend all the way to the Monte Rosa hut, that left us with some spare time, which Adam, Ryan and I used to walk up Ludwigshöhe.
