Thanks!!Thanks for posting these, Sean! Just this morning several people were telling me about this lunar eclipse which apparently was only visible in the USA though!

Re: Thanks!!I read it was only visible in some spots. I'm sure you will get some great astronomical occurrences in the next 3000 years over there ;)

Great!Very nice work, Sean! I messed around with some photos, but we had thin haze and I don't have the long glass, so my results aren't a spot on these.

Re: Great!Thanks- took a bit of trial and error. Went with a Sigma 500mm, low ISO, and the Sunny rule because the moon was bright (F16). The toughest was when it was in complete shadow.

I was so looking forward...... to the eclipse....but all we got was rain and clouds all day and all night... until it turned to snow this a.m.
Thanks for posting! Your shots are outstanding!

Good workIn the spirit of taking things for granted I decided to go to sleep before it happened although the moon was visible and I definitely could have seen it. Oh well, you're pictures do it justice though!

InterestingThank you for posting. The lunar eslipse was supposed to be visible from our area, but unfortunately we had cloudy skies. Greetings, Henryk.

Last minute thoughts...Glad you followed up on 'em. Pacific NW was in prime viewing area but we picked up three inches of snow over night, so no viewing from my home valley...

Re: I'm waiting for Aug. 17, 2017That's not too long- it could be like 400 years for other occurrences!
Thanks for checking out the photos!
