This is a fascinating page and concisely written. Well done for putting it up. I never had enough time to explore Eastern Iran which is a shame as the topography looks more interesting. A couple of points. I'd add a lot more info on getting to Makou for those less familiar with Iran. Can you add some coordinates on the map please? Also, any ideas about the rock? Sandstone? Quality?
