Beautiful!Nice picture. Good luck in Pizzo di Claro. I'm thinking to do something similar in memory of my girlfriend, Aconcagua 2008.

Re: Beautiful!Thank you very much! Yes pizzo di Claro is coming soon, I just got back from getting the metal plate I let a store made. So in 2 weeks it will be up high in the Alps!
Great you are doing the same thing, I think it's a beautiful way to honour someone you cared about! For when that time comes in 2008: Good luck!!!
Cheers Lodewijk

Hi,Nice picture ! you can see the north side of Soreiller group.
The highest summit visible here is Ailefroide 3974m on the left of the picture. the Summit with a glacier on the top is not Barre des Ecrins but Les Rouies 3589m.
Buy the way this is very bad to have buid a ski resort in such a place. High mountains have to be protected from human business and destructions.
Cheers, Olivier

Re: Hi,Thanks! I will change this! You are right, I would rather have been on this place on foot just enjoying nature, without all the masses. It is sad to see...
Bye and thanks for the comment!
Cheers Lodewijk
Ps Are you sure It is not Ecrins? It is towering high above the rest...should be higher than 3500m

Lodewijk !Bedanft voor het plaatsen van deze foto!
Honestly, I don't know Dutch, but seems it
would be fun to learn. What does shukie
mean? Does it mean 'friend?'
Awesome deep colours in your fotos!
