West Ridge
Beginning with a waist-deep crossing of the creek, we found quite a bit more snow than expected through the trees on our way to the west ridge. Easily enough, we were able to ascend softening snow fields in approach shoes to the fun boulder field just below the summit. Great heal glissading down.

From some pullout north of the peak, off Tioga Road. Some nice scrambling options. Saw a porcupine on the descent!

East Slope
Mono Pass TH. Mono Pass Trail to Spillway Lake Jct. Left trail heading west toward the summit. Came out of the woods a little off course to the north so traversed the slope to get back on track. Next time would go all the way in to the shores of Kuna Lake, then head up. Returned to TH via the drainage from Kuna Lake and the Mono Pass Trail.

via Mono Pass
Took the Mono Pass trail to just short of the Spillway junction and headed up from there. Beautiful summer day.
Couldn't find a marker or registry on top- not even quite sure which of the summit ridge bumps was the highpoint.
Started at Mono Pass Trailhead. Headed west from junction with Spillway lake trail. Boulder hopped the last 600ft.Did not find a registry. Descended via south saddle and towards the north side of Kuna lake back to Mono Pass trail.

NE Ridge
DB and I scrambled up the highly enjoyable, class 3-4 NE ridge out of the Mono Pass TH. Surprisingly fun, with a few short class 4-5 problems along the crest, if one is so inclined. From the summit, I cruised on over to Kuna Crest North (12,170).

Kuna Crest Traverse
Left from Mono Pass trailhead. Hiked into Helen Lake and climbed up to the Kuna Crest. I followed the Kuna Crest to the summit of Mammoth Peak.
Climbed from Kuna Lake many years ago, then traversed south along the Kuna Crest. Incredible views from along the length of the crest. A very easy climb, and the traverse along the crest was more than easy.

North Slopes
Scrambled up the north slopes after climbing Mt Morgan earlier in the day. Left from a pullout overlooking a meadow almost directly north of the peak. Went straight up some class 3 slabs for several hundred feet before coming to a plateau halfway up. From there it easy class 2 to the top. Watched the sunset and returned around 10:00pm. 1:30 up.
