Hi Rory ...Can you please give me more details -- is this fed by a natural spring, or perhaps meant for
cattle grazing or multi-use wildlife conservation ??? How often do you see Bighorn sheep in this area ?

Re: Hi Rory ...I hiked to this area from Calico Basin rather than approaching via the Jeep Road. It takes about 90 minutes of off trail desert hiking to get there that way. I didn't see any wildlife but I'm sure that it's around.

Re: Hi Rory ...OK, thanks for the info ... I didn't know there was a cattle tank back in there. Desert hiking is the best, because you always discover interesting pools and different stuff like this.
