Re: Beautiful! What you see is a Slovenian road that begins (about 1080m) at a crossing that is halfway between Passo of Predil (between Italy and Slovenia) and the village Strmec na Predelu (Slovenia).
The very scenic road, full of bends and with some short tunnels, leads up to 2040m of altitude.
To whom want to go untill there with the car:
during winter and spring, when there is a lot of snow is closed to the traffic, down, immediately at that crossing.
In the summer you pay a toll to go up, few euro, but only if you go during the day.
Be always careful, driving at walking speed in some bends and tight switchbacks without sight, even when could seem noone around.
Suddenly you might be on a motorcycle, a car, a mini bus, a camper, even at night, or against a deer.
Rocks often fall from the sheer rockfaces.
