I enjoyed your trip report and pics. I did Maple back in 2008 and for me it was a brush fest. Doing it in the snow seems to be a tougher way though, so kudos, well done.
I was wondering if you'd head back and do Maple after we did Y Mountain the week before. Sounds like it was a solid workout--great post!
Yeah, it was the week after. I haven't been doing much hiking the last few months unfortunately.
