All the Way Up 2020
Class 1 hike but it is a trek, tiring especially going up! 5 hours C2C, the final scramble is on great rock with decent exposure, beautiful 75 degree weather, great views of I90!

Found orange microspikes. Great sunset. Still plenty of snow.
Snow on trial down to 3750 or so. Pretty soft but I used micro spikes, but no ice axe. Summit views were amazing. Not too difficult to route fine in the dark on the way down.
Found orange microspikes near top contact and I can send them to you.

East Face Direct Class 4
Fun spring climb directly up the east face to bypass the long trail. Took the trail route down

Hot, still
A particularly still day brought out all the bugs until a slight breeze on the summit came to the rescue. Great hike!

So much snow
Trail was clear or pre-broken for the first third or so. After that, there was knee- to thigh-deep powder the whole way up.

Via Standard Trail
A pretty hot day. Quite a few people out on the trail today (no surprises there). A nice little scramble or so to the summit was fun. Views were fairly obstructed due to haze from all the wildfires. Still a great day and not a bad workout either.
Great weather for the hike. Super trip up and great views. Snow above 4000 feet. Summit block clear and dry

Indian Summer
Got a late start. Reports in earlier October of snow at the top no longer accurate as it all melted off. However, wind really picks up at the summit which made the class 3-4 scramble slightly more dicey.
Watched sunset from summit and descended all by my lonesome with only the sounds of I-90 to accompany me.
Distances on this hike are off. From lower trailhead to summit is closer to 5.6 miles. Made it from car to summit in 3 hours. Descended in 2.5 hours.

Endless switchbacks
It's a long slog up McClellan, but worth it. Great views of the I-90 corridor. The scramble is a bit exposed, but very easy.
Afternoon activity on a cloudy day along I-90. The peak is a lot like Mt. Si, with ~3k gain and a short summit scramble, which is a bit trickier when wet.

Morning Jaunt
This was a nice morning jaunt we got in before the rain set in. It's a good hike for packing in elevation gain plus enough intrigue to keep it interesting.
For how much complaining I've heard about the scramble, it is not that exposed and almost entirely class 2.

fun
Good workout and scramble. The peak is a great place to hang around at looking down. Or in any other direction.

Standard trail. Loved the scramble section, great rock... wish it was longer. Views were ok, but not the best. My GPS (which tends to underestimate) clocked this one as 5.2 mi one way with 3700 elevation via the standard trailhead. I was expecting it to be a little shorter, but it was a great conditioning hike. 4 1/2 hr car to car.

Great Hike close to Seattle
Awesome view looking down toward I90. Fortunately no rain or the upper section would have been not cross-able without protection.
