I was just thinking that if this photograph

Re: That's a big mushroom!Okay. Mushrooms that are that big are usually cut into thin slices and dried. Then they can be used for spices and for the Polish pierogi (dumplings).

these mushroomsare also good fried or breaded and fried like a schnitzel. My favorite. I do go mushroom hunting once in a while into evergreen forest after raining and the best is in the full moon time of the month.
