"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

After Conference HikeWas at a conference in Palm Springs, got out before lunch and took the tram up, hiked Miller Peak, San Jacinto Peak and Jean Peak, hardly any snow except on the offtrail descent from Jean back down to the regular trail. Got back down from the tram by 6 PM and was home in Tracy a bit after midnight. Trip report is HERE.

C2C with 3 PeaksThe usual ritual of Cactus to Clouds, only that this time I added two extra summits. Miller was first, went up from the bend in the SJ Peak Trail below Miller Saddle.
