Mine Camp and White Pine
Climbed Mine Camp Peak and White Pine Peak. Beautiful views all around. North to Lone Peak, Timp and Nebo, west to Wheeler in Nevada and the Deep Creeks, south to the Tushars, east to the Wasatch Plateau. Ascended via the Mossy Falls Trailhead and up Bear and Paradise Canyons. Quite a bit of burn obvious from the 2022 fire in the area. Luckily, the large aspen colonies in the upper elevations were spared. I am a new fan of the Pahvant Range!
Drove up from Richfield and descended to Fillmore. Descent is very steep; I retarded my speed using 4LO. Both roads (east from Richfield and west to Fillmore) are (as of this date) suitable for all vehicles. High clearance was not necessary.
A clear use trail starts just west of the cattle guard and descends to what appears to be an exploratory mine shaft on the saddle below. The faint trail to the peak ascends between the aspens on the left and the escarpment on the right. Once above the aspens, I was not able to make out any clear trail the rest of the way to the summit. GPS measured a distance of 0.44 miles.

20th County High Point of Utah
This makes 20 of the 29 Utah Counties reached! Drove up from Fillmore and continued over to Richfield. Nice area, and the gravel road was in good shape.

Mine Camp Peak
After hiking Delano Peak the previous day and camping at Fremont Indian State Park, I bagged my 15th Utah county high point with Mine Camp Peak. I drove up from Richfield. It was rather long and tedious, and wishing not to have to do it again, I decided to, instead, drive down to Fillmore. All reports said this was a rather rough road, and I wish I had heeded that advice. There is a half-mile section that is very steep with jagged rocks. In my opinion unless you after county high points, this once is not worth the effort.

Pleasant Evening Hike
Drove up after work and had the area all to myself. Serene place. Saw a porcupine on the way down as well as a few deer. I couldn't believe you could see Mount Timpanogos from up there. Amazing!

Delano and Mine Camp
Hiked Delano and Mine Camp since I was camped relatively close at Yuba State Park. I wrote up a trip report for both here: http://www.summitpost.org/delano-and-mine-camp-peaks/980234
I loved the views of the red rocks to the east and the Tushars to the south and Wheeler to the west. Stunning views! The road was in great shape from Richfield and this was just what the doctor ordered for a leg stretcher heading to St. George the back way.

Lazy Sunday Drive
Just let it happen. The road was good enough for passenger vehicles from the Richfield side when we went.
The leaves were wonderful and the red rocks were cool too.

County High Point
Hiked this along with Delano Peak the same day. The hardest part about this mountain is the drive to get there.
We spent two days driving around doing little peaks in the area. On the first day we did 9412, 9220, 9500, Rock Springs, 8730, Hans Ridge, South Ridge, and White Pine. On the second day we did Mine Camp, Sand Rock Ridge, Sunset, Leavitts, and 8744 which was the hardest of the lot. A lot of the first day was spent sitting in the car waiting for it to stop raining (20% chance of isolated thunderstorms).

Mine Camp and White Pine
We approached Mine Camp from Richfield and parked in the pullout by the cattle guard. From there it is a short walk up to the summit. After words I backtracked and drove up to just shy of the summit of White Pine Peak. From there we drove the road to Fillmore. This was Ut CoHP # 5 in the last three days.

Gorgeous fall colors!
Drove up from Aurora along Willow Creek Road. Followed the road along the top of the Pavant. Parked under White Pine Peak, and summited surrounded by golden aspen leaves. Gorgeous day.
This one took forever to drive up to from Fillmore and even longer to drive down to Richfield. The driving took ten times longer than any of the climbing. Also tagged White Pine and Sunset Peaks on the way.
Camped at cattle guard. Hit the peak at sunrise. Nice views to north and south, saw some rain out in the valley. Off to White Pine and Fish Lake.

Easy Hike
Drove the road up from Richfield. I feel like I cheated on this county highpoint, but time was of the essence. The road from Richfield was in good shape, however, high clearance is needed to avoid some large rocks and ruts
