We preferred the variety of the lopp and decided to take down Monroe from the summit. Very crowded trail, but lots of shade.
Lots of snow still around 2500 ft and above. Made for a longer trip than planned. Awesome views on a clear day, lots of fun.
Climbed the Monroe to the Dean trail and then descended via the Monroe. Did it with my wife. A great experience to be back on the mountain again.
Loved the mountain the 100km/h winds on top were awesome.
I've hiked this trail many times and always enjoy it, especially in Fall.
