Thanks! I know that you are a big expert on the World War I. So, here's my proposal - I gave you the rights over the page of Monte Cengio and feel free to add any information you find appropriate. It holdst true for all my pages - whoever wishes to get editing or even admin rights, I can grant them. SP would evolve faster if there was more a Wiki spirit ;)
P.S.: Also here in Kranj it's cold and rainy. Yesterday, temperatures were really like in summer.
Being a history major turned hiker, this just became a gotta go place!

Re: Wow
Thanks!
It would be an interesting idea to link together all current SummitPost pages, describing the mountains, famous from the World War I. It's a lot of them - from the west to the east, to our Isonzo front. I described some, Gangolf has many, Italian authors have the summits from Dolomites, Ortler group and from Prealpi Venete e Trentine, etc.
Unfortunately I don't have competence and time to do that :(

Thanks to both of you...... for another fantastic historical page. SP is becoming a treasure trove of information about the incredible alpine campaigns.

Re: Thanks to both of you...Oh, thank you! I tried not to extend too much the historical part. But additions are welcome.

Re: ¡Thank you!Yes, I fully agree with you. Unfortunately we rarely have time to study some more facts about other aspects and write them down.
Thank you for visiting and your kind words :)
Cheers!
