Normal route via Monte Acquaviva
Not one of the main summits of the Majella range, but certainly one of the hardest to reach. Left the bivouac on Monte Amaro about AM 3.00 in order to enjoy the sunrise from the summit of Monte Acquaviva. From there to the summit of Monte Pizzone on terribly crumbling rock and some fairly exposed passages. Great views on a cloudless day.
