The presence of the eagles (extimated the number of 5-6) is not limited to the Valle di Teve, but the peculiar morfology of the valley seems to be perfect for them.
There are other restrictions (but I' m not completely sure) concerning the possibilities to walk out of the trail in Valle di Teve; negative impacts to the gravelly valley can be determined by walking not on the trail. These restrictions are not well accepted by the hikers.
Anyway, thanks Livio for your vote . You, as others SP members, are free to correct my poor english!
Another very nice page of Apenines! So, my desire to climb some of these mountains is rapidly growing. Oh, how I would welcome a group overview page of this area, with an interactive map - for a broader orientation and as a departure point for visiting distinct SP pages. If I can be of any help, just let me know ;-)
You are right Vid. It should be necessary for a better orientering. I'm not sure to be able to build up such a group page, but I'll start to study about this. The number of mountains pages is growing, but more and more could be posted. Your experience, as well as of other SP members (I'm thinking on Livioz), on developing group-page will be surely useful for me and I'll not hesitate to call you.

Untitled CommentJust a fine page, with interesting information (included the trail forbidden because of the presence of the eagles).
And it seems written properly, at least at my italian ears...;-)
