South ridge from Miner Lakes
Upper Miner Lake is truly gorgeous! Enjoy yourself finding the route up the cliffs - the top of the headwall is very steep and loose! Didn't mind sharing the summit area with some goats and their kids. I was able to sneak this climb in between some rain storms that really made the Sacajawea Peaks look dark and menacing- looking forward to climbing those peaks! What an awesome trip in an awesome range of mountains!

Southwest RidgePersistance and patience were the keys to the day. Both paid off. A good personal goal to have achieved Monument Peak.
