This is one of the best pages on Summit Post. The only thing I would like to say is that I'd like to see at least a parenthesis reference to the original name of the mountain. The Yakama who live in its shadow have always referred to it as PAH-TO, which is not only more original but also much more fitting the nobility of a mighty volcano. Through forums like this we really have a chance to change the vocabulary of the status quo and I'd really love to see people start exercising that ability with more frequency.
