total crossing
Bushwhack up from the north from Shofield Pass (had to run there because the road was closed to traffic by an avalanche) to gain the north ridge and continued south over the long ridge to the summit (broken register) and then on a nice trail down to Paradise Basin and onto Cinnamon Mountain and other 12ers.
If you only have half day in CB area, this climb is pretty fun.

Ski
With Rachael and Scot. Booted up SW ridge from our campsite at snowline along the Slate River Road. Skied the south bowl off one of the false summits. Lovely spring descent, great snow.
Climbed up E Ridge from the Schofield Pass Rd, descended S, and on to Gothic

Easy - no snow
For early June I was expecting to come across some snow but luckilly all the snow was on the right side of the west ridge. The weather was pretty good, however I was being blown away by the wind. All in all it's a great day hike that anyone can do.

Route Climbed: West Ridge
A great introductory peak around Crested Butte that makes for an easy climb with presumably great views. Unfortunately on this day the views were hampered by a dense haze throughout the valley (due to the California wildfires). I descended a fairly steep couloir just South of the summit to the old mining road in Paradise Basin. Many of these lines down the Western bowl of the peak are descendable should weather be approaching.
Route Climbed: South East Ridge Date Climbed: July 22, 2004
A gorgeous little summit. My photos do not do the mountain justice. I prey This lttle bit of work provides the requisite info to those that would appreciate it. My dogs liked this mountain.
