SW slope
We headed up to Grasshopper Col but low on the face we angled right up the SW slope, direct to the summit. This was as loose as the main N slope, but more direct to the summit. We descended the West ridge to Grasshopper Pass and I jaunted up Acrodectes Peak, which was much more interesting than Baxter. Trip report.

North Ridge
Started from Sawmill Pass TH at 3 am and made it to the peak before the afternoon storms rolled in. Took a less direct route up the N ridge on the way up and found it much much better to follow the ridge more directly on the way down.
First Acrodectes (a fine peak), then over to Baxter. About 2.5 hours of head lamp on the way back.

via southwest chute
Climbed over Baxter Pass (ugh!) with Michael G. up a loose chute before descending via the west ridge to Acrodectes. Slog up the pass and painful return to trail head only to get the bad news about the tragedy on North Diamond Peak. Pictures & Story
Traversed the ridge from Baxter Pass, then continued to Acrodectes. Much less chossy than it looks, but long. Trip report.

Entire NE Ridge
Entire NE ridge with Doug. Started on south side of Sawmill Creek, and up the long ridge to the top. Quite grand, though a leg burner with the initial sandy slopes, and quite chossy in a few sections. Took Sawmill pass back out, and then had to hike back across the desert to the car. A real fun, long, day.
Kind of anti-climactic after the snow chute and fun scrambling on Arcodectes. Climbed w/ Scottie Mack.

Traverse from Arcodectes
Not such an intersting summit after coming over from Arcodectes. Climbed with Laura Molnar.

Entire East Rdge
A 24 hour ordeal. Did a couple 5.7ish pitches including an ice chimney. Really long, tricky route finding and plenty of choss. Many false summits also. A true adventure. Don't have more than a couple people if you try this one. Snow probably made it sketchier and more annoying than it should have been.
Bit of a slog. The mosquitos were the worst I've ever seen.

SE Slopes
A long outing with Matthew to Baxter and Acrodectes. Beware! This route up Baxter is horrible. Better to go over Baxter Pass and up the SW Slopes. You've been warned. Trip Report
