Pretty easy walk up the trail. Nice views. Plenty of people on the way up as our group headed down. Did in conjunction with Elephant. Looking forward to more time in the Gallatins again soon.

Early Season Fun
Skinned to the top via the East face...shredded a line down the east ridge to a chute which dropped the north face. Awesome line!

Storyhill Summit
I topped out on Mt Blackmore during a family vacation to Storyhill Fest along the shores of Hyalite reservoir. Beautiful music, beautiful mountains!

Great Family Peak
Backpacked up to the bowl created by Blackmore, Elephant Mountain and saddle between. Tagged the summit the next day with my wife, 11 year old daughter and dog. Views to the south and west are incredible!

Don't Close the Road!
Rode the North face after a spring storm- classic! Went with Shane and his hippy sticks. One of the best quick rides from Bozeman, have been back many times.
A great after work hike on a spectacular fall day. A few small patches of snow left from the weekend. Crazy Peak had a fresh coat of snow on its upper reaches.

First trip up Blackmore
Quickly climbed the trail in 2hrs and 15min, and took the same time for decent. Skipped work to get one last hike in before school started. Beautiful views from the top of the entire valley.

Early Morning
Hit the trail solo at 5:40am to escape one of the many 90+ degree days in Bozeman this summer. Was surprised by how hot it was at summit even at 9:15. Lots of annoying bugs too.

Skiing Anyone?
A great day trip. I've climbed this multiple times, and it can be a great ski. Views over the backside are impressive and a bit of a surprise - who knew there were so many mountains back there?

I had been looking forward to this peak all summer. It turned out to be awesome. The next day was the start of my 7th grade year at the local Anderson School. My heels started hurting on the way down and got to the point where they were sore until 2 weeks later.

We left around 11:00 in the morning and hiked up an icy, glossed over trail until just below the saddle. From there we climbed up the snow and rock to the ridge highpoint between Elephant and Blackmore and then followed the ridge to the top of Blackmore. It was a very warm day for 10,000 ft. in November. In fact, we were wearing short-sleeve shirts on the summit.

Beautiful day and climb. 55 degrees at trailhead, around 40 on summit. Switchbacks are tiring, but an extremely fun climb for spectacular views. The October snow made for beautiful landscapes of Peak 10,031 and Mount Bole.
